Welcome to High Bridge Studios and Gallery
Welcome to our new showpiece studios, gallery, and arts and office spaces at High Bridge. It’s taken all of us a long time to get here, but we are really proud of the finished building. I’d like to thank everyone who has been involved in the process – from beginning to end.
Of course we don't have High Bridge Studios and Gallery operating on all cylinders yet. We are currently looking for tenants for the office spaces, and we’re negotiating for an operator to deliver the gallery and outreach programmes.
But we do have a vibrant community of artists in the building. All studios are let – and we have a waiting list. Studio holders began to move in last summer, and we have a fairly settled community. Many studio holders are now using the building collectively and creatively to show their work and engage with audiences.
I think High Bridge is a particularly fine conversion. The gallery space is magnificent, and the studios, within the context of both the industrial feel of the building, and the synergies of the artists’ community, seem to me to be functional and motivational.
We aren’t fully open for business, but please if you do get the opportunity, look in. And please keep an eye open for announcements about one off events, and our plans for bringing the building into full use.
And please let us know if you have any comments or questions about the Studios and Gallery.
